Wow, before I could click the publish button, RD and Trollperson were battling to a photo finish for the Early Bird award, much like the climax of the Preakness yesterday.

Eight years ago Keweenaw Video took the Pasty Cam by Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, first time we had seen it from the water. The Lighthouse Museum Complex opens in a couple of weeks, which you'll want to be sure to visit this summer.

That is really a different picture of the lighthouse. Haven't seen on like that before.

Good Morning, you all! It's cool (49) & drizzly here today. We're expecting a high of 56, so it's not supposed to be a great day for working outside in the yard or something here.

I love the picture of the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse from the water!

Have a great Sunday!

Good Afternoon, hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I woke up to about a quarter of inch of snow here in Painesdale. The poor lilac trees sure looked cold. The sun came out and it is now looking green again. I will have to mark this one in the weather records.

We had a couple of Copper Country "Loopers" visiting the York River Yacht Haven, Gloucester Point,VA, our local marinia for the past 8 days. The first one was "Work of Art" owned by childhood friend of mine and a CHS Class of '58 grad. The other boat was called "Superior Dreams". They are both 1972 32' Grand Banks Trawlers. My friends were really surprised to get two of Pasty Central's pasties that I had in my freezer. It was the first pasties they had since leaving the Copper Country last July. work of art transom.jpg
