Good morning from snowy Painesdale. Winter has returned. 9.5 inches of new snow on the ground this AM, making the total on the ground 19 inches. I believe we are ready to tackle just about any winter sport now. TGIF!

I imagine there was a lot of video game playing at Tech since there was no snow for Carnival. Now from I hear it looks like an angry hornets nest around campus; students buzzing around building statues.....

We had some flurries. We need snow this weekend because my sons cub scout pack is going sledding tomorrow, there will be a lot of angry little boys without it.

I didn't realize that young men in college had such good decorating taste. I love the lace curtains, flowered wallpaper and antique lamp and table.

We are wanting HIM to get the award. But there is a She out there who used white out on her scren so we can't see it.She knows who she is.

How do you put pictures on here? My brother just e-mailed me some pictures of a freighter in a lake superior storm. They are something else. Or if you want to see them I can forward anyone the e-mail. I am a little deficient at computers.

I saw those pictures, they were actually taken in the North Atlantic

This was actually discussed on yesterday's What'sUP, with links to check out the real story...yes, the shots Brooke is speaking about were a ship on the Atlantic Ocean, not Lake Superior this past November. Still impressive though!

David, You quit picking on me about my early birds now. You're just jealous cuz I get up with the lovely birds. Don't worry, I'll leave it for you today since it's Saturday and I have to work today.

As you'll notice people, I was one of the first to mention giving Kosk her early bird sticker.

(But you're right, I used my white out so she couldn't get it cuz she made me so mad for beating me. LOL)
