Following up Duane's question yesterday, a scan of the Pasty Cam Archives came up with references to "Electric Park" in a 2003 discussion about trolleys and Albion Station. Here's an old postcard published at both CopperRange.org and Copper Country Reflections:

Electric Park

Good morning from soggy warm Mishawaka IN. Thanks for the blast from the past Charlie. I've been on a electric car only once in my life down in Dayton Ohio when I was a little girl. Brings back good memories. Have a good day everyone!

Wonder if Big Louie ever left his foot prints at Electric Park?

Hard to imagine a popular park where there's now only trees and a broken concrete pad.
Would love to see more pics.

Hi all, I was curious myself regarding Electric Park and in my browsing I came across this photo of the inside of the Pavilion, wish I could have seen that place back then.... pavilion

Good morn, I saw the pictures of Electric Park. I have a family photo taken there and another postcard. How do I post the pictures for all to see? Would love for everyone to see my family back in 1917. Thanks

It's Pearl Harbor Day. Please don't forget like many folks have. That silent moment will be 9:55 a.m. in Idaho. The blowing snowstorm prevented my flag from flying today.
Thanks for the Electric Park pictures. History is a blast.

A survey of the math and reading skills of 15-year-olds in 40 countries found that FINLAND is #1 in math skills! Impressive, huh?

What is more impressive with that survay was the USA was #28. Maybe we do not pay our teachers enough.

What a great picture of the pavilion at the Electric Park Dave. And Ellen, the post card pic could be the one that many have and the boat swing that i've been looking for is on the far left in that photo. Its not enough to really see the structure. I sure wish the family photo would show it though, If you are not able to post it I would really like to see it. I was around Laurium again today asking diferent ones about pictures but still no luck. Hundreds have visited the once well known park sooooo lets hope somthing will show up! have a good all. Duane
