Amen to that, Charlotte! Happy New Year from
Toronto where there is a dusting of snow on
the ground--enough to sled on at the local
park. Numbers were down at church--that
early service took its toll with New Year's Day
falling on a Sunday.

Thanks to Charlie, Mary and all of the others at
Pasty Cam who keep us in touch with the UP.

On our way to Eagle River on the 28th, we
passed the Hut. Everyone in our family is
eager to hear of it reopening--much talk of
thimbleberry torte took place. We were
blessed by a view of a freighter off the shore of
Eagle River. It doesn't get much better than
that...
