The Upper Peninsula is so mesmerizing, with beauty beyond description. The pictures have been worth more than words over the past two decades. Today we're recalling the glow of Z-Man's Ontonagon Light in '05, Judy Byykkonen's lofty view of Grand Marais/Munising in 2011, and Jim Ziemnick's breathtaking moon over the North Entry Breakers. How blessed we have been, surrounded by such beauty and such friends to share it.
The video from InterUnet adds the pleasant sound of the waves and the wind, and reminds me of a song that tells of a land "where the birds share their joy all day long." Ahhh...
What great pictures. That full moon is breathtaking. We were in the UP last week. Weather, as always, didn't cooperate for us but we did get some delicious blueberries. I'm sure your nice weather will be back now that we've left, lol.
Have a great week!

OH, MAN...what a superb video compilation! I could watch and listen to it all day. I think I'll be taking several breaks today, doing just that.

Whatever became of Z-Man? We haven't seen anything from him in ages. Did I miss something?
