As March comes to and end, we carry on our long standing tradition of setting aside the last day of the month to remember friends and loved ones that have gone on before us. Today our list includes:

Francis “Fran” Cloutier
Paul Friar
Billy Graham
Bob Olson
David Perreault
Robert “Rob” Roy
Cheryl Cundy Rozman
Servicemen and women who have given their all

All of us here at Pasty Central extend our deepest sympathy to all that have lost someone near and dear to them. We invite you to share the names of special people in your lives who you would like to remember, too.

Special thanks to Judy Byykkonen for the beautiful, winter sunset to honor our departed.

BEAUTIFUL picture!

Fly high Cheryl....show us how easy it is!! She was
one stunning woman.

God's Blessings to all.

Thinking with great sadness and great hope of our
dear friend and adopted mother, Thelma Guelde, who
went Home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday. She'll
be celebrating the Resurrection with her Lord and the
family who went before her this Easter.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 10:10 am:

So sorry for your loss, jbuck! And yes, fly
high, Cheryl. You deserve it. Judy, that
picture is spectacular!

Thinking about my Aunt Frieda who passed 9 years
ago this month at 100 years old. She was an
amazing woman who was the best aunt a girl could
ask for. I loved her so much and I still miss
her.

We have snow here today for the annual Easter
egg hunt in town. The kids will have to be
diehards to search for eggs in this.

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 10:30 am:

Thank you, Deb. Thelma was 93 , but like your 100
year old Aunt, it's still hard to say good bye.

Are you getting the storm that's headed to the UP
for Easter?

I remember one year while at NMU we had a Sunrise
Service on the shore of Lake Superior. It was
beautiful and mild. It went so well everyone
decided to do it again the next year. Needless to
say the next year was 'normal' with snow and cold
and the Sunrise Service was back in the church
that year! That did make it easier on the deacons
who cooked the breakfast afterwards tho!

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 10:39 am:

Hmmm, i just checked their website and Bethel Baptist
shows their Sunrise Service is at South Beach. Got a
feeling they may have to change that!!

My DAD, Leonard Schwartz, he was one of the
"GREATEST GENERATION", W.W.II.

By Evelyn D. (Onceayooper2) on Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 06:37 pm:

Remembering my father, Toivo Leinonen who died on March 29, 1988 at the age of 66 years old. So much has happened in the 30 years he has been gone, like my two kids who never met him. I never met his parents either, they died the year before I was born. It is like history repeated itself. We will always miss him.

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 06:45 pm:

Evelyn D. (Onceayooper2), i hope that 'tradition'
ends with this generation!
