There's nothing better than a crisp apple right off the tree and it looks like Ashlee Harvey feels the same. She's certainly been busy harvesting them and if those baskets full are any indication, this must be a good year for Keweenaw apples. I'm betting there's a few apple pies and some homemade applesauce coming out of that apple harvest. YUM!

Ashlee also found some bright and beautiful fall blooms to share. So pretty and matching the color of the leaves that are changing to autumn colors, too. Not only flowers are still around to decorate the Keweenaw, though, as Ashlee snapped a shot of this fall arrangement with hay bales and pumpkins, simple yet eye catching for the season. It's beginning to look a lot like Autumn here UP North!

Beautiful pictures of the harvest and what makes Autumn the best season!

Another beautiful review!

The apples in the first picture sure do look tasty. Apples in the first picture and pumpkins in the last picture are two of my favorite pies. My taste buds are crying out in need.

Great autumn picures. At first sight, I thought
for sure they were Brenda Leigh's pictures. Nice,
Ashlee! Those apples look scrumptious!

O beautiful for apple pies!

Such a nice time of year in the U.P.! Autumn has always been my favourite season. When my parents used to come and visit us there, my dad would insist upon picking lots of apples and baking us apple cakes and apple pies. I think I put on about ten pounds during their visits.

How wonderful is that? Apples that haven't been sprayed with every chemical known to man. I can almost smell the aroma of the fresh apples just from looking at the pics.

These photos make me miss the five apple trees we had at our old house.
