Love all of the bird pictures. Love the freighter
pictures and the moon. And it's so nice to see
flowers in November. I know because I still have
petunias, geraniums and marigolds. It's great!

All set for our first snowstorm moving in this afternoon. Forecasters are saying 8-10 inches, just a dusting for the U.P.

WOW, two shots of the USCG Alder, it's a beautiful boat but I much preferred its predecessor, Sundew, which had its homeport in Charlevoix when we lived there.

I have an old VHS tape of chickadees eating out of my hand, like our 2003 pic today. I stood there in the cold for about 15 or 20 minutes before 3 or 4 of them decided it was safe to eat from my hand. Still brings a smile to my face when I think of it. The nuthatches and chickadees seem tame. Sure is fun to watch them and the others as they fly back and forth from the feeders.
