Bridgefest this weekend!  They put all the dignitaries on the back of a truck and throw water balloons.

This baby great horned  owl was spotted high atop  a tree in the Keweenaw.
 
 
(we've seen many owls, loons, and Eagles around here lately)

Bob and Martha Aho visited the Keweenaw this week.  Bob is the former administrator of Still Waters, and Martha the former gardener.

South of Five Mile Point Road, we pass through Ahmeek, which has something to do with beavers.
